The physio-led service provides treatment of acute and long-term musculoskeletal conditions in the community

The service provides an initial assessment to determine the nature of the MSK problem

A treatment plan will then be developed and the patient will be supported to follow the plan.

Patient information: Information for patients with arthritis

If an urgent referral is required or the patient needs transport/interpretation, please send to locomotor@nhs.net.

Please also email any referrals for more complex physiotherapy patients with risks we should be aware of. These can then be screened to be seen by the most appropriate senior clinician or with a chaperone.

You can also email us with any queries about a patient or for a call back from the treating clinician.

Service locations include: St Leonards Hospital, Kenworthy Road Health Centre and John Scott Health Centre. The service is also offered at certain GP Practices locally.
