Hemiplegic Shoulder Pain Injection Clinic

Clinical examination and diagnosis by a consultant physiotherapist with X Ray imaging and the offer of a guided steroid/local anaesthetic injection to the subacromial space or joint capsule including large volume hysdrodistension in appropriate patients. 

Eligibility criteria

Inclusions

Adults with shoulder pain in the affected limbs

 

Exclusions

Fear of needles/injections

complex anti coagulation (liaise with service)
