PAUSE provides a psychologically informed, bespoke 18 month programme of interventions for women who have had children removed from their care. Each Pause programme is developed around the goals and aspirations women have for themselves.
Eligibility criteria includes: removal of child/ren within the last 5 years, resident or local connection to Hackney. For more information about Pause please go to https://www.pause.org.uk/.
The Pause Hackney approach is trauma informed and based upon developing safe, secure and positive relationships with women and important people in their networks. During these challenging times, we continue to work to engage women, although our approach is primarily using mobile phones and video calling, we welcome new referrals and continue to work for social and emotional connectedness, despite physical distancing.
