Speedy access and effective care to all adult and paediatric patients aged above 2 years old with urgent ENT problems.


Eligibility criteria

Inclusions

Only for 2 years and above paediatric patients

The clinic is designed to treat short term (usually less than a week), severe conditions such as those listed below:

  • Haemorrhage
    Nasal: non-arrested epistaxis episodes
    Aural: due to trauma, surgery or infection
    Throat: due to trauma or surgery
  • Acute infections
        All acute infections pertaining to ear, nose and throat,
        for  example, otitis externa, acute aural discharge,
        acute tonsillitis, peri-tonsillar abscess and acute nasal discharge.
  • Acute pain - pertaining to all ENT regions
  • Non-acute airway obstruction
  • Acute vertigo
  • Foreign bodies suspected or proved
