Currently due to demand, the waits for the Respiratory Diagnostic Hub are over 6 months.
The service is doing everything it can to increase its capacity within its resourcing. Please download the information on the use of alternative investigations, in line with the new NICE/BTS/SIGN guideline on the Diagnosis and Management of Asthma.
Please note, the service cannot accept referrals for monitoring spirometry, this if for people without diagnosis only. Symptom management can be considered; while awaiting diagnosis, this should be in line with the Northeast London Asthma and COPD guidelines and formulary.
