Second Biannual Referral Audit

Advice and Guidance rather than looking at the highest referrals speciality. As an example Gadhvi Practice is looking at Cardiology and Urology (since we feel they don't provide a good service) and Gynaecology (as they provide a good service).

The parameters you can look at are like:

1) total number referrals made for that speciality

2) response time after referral

3) was appropriate advice given

4) how many were referred to secondary care by the advice doctor for that speciality

5) any other issues/problems encountered

• We could look at the same specialities together like Cardiology, Urology and Gynaecology and compare the results or you can choose your own specialities. It is your decision at your own discretion.
• Make sure you have enough numbers to make the audit more meaningful. 
• Data can be looked at from 01.04.19 until present day or the last 6 months.
• In fact you don't need any searches just go onto ERS portal and all the data is there.
