Smokefree City & Hackney is changing! From 1 July 2024, eligible City of London & Hackney residents will receive free innovative smoking cessation support from gloji | Smokefree City &Hackney, provided by award-winning healthy lifestyle providers, Thrive Tribe.


Local residents can access specialist smoking cessation advisors, either remotely, or face-to-face at a range of key community locations, primary care practices, Homerton Hospital and a wide range of local pharmacies. Residents will also get access to a digital 12-week programme to support their quit attempt and an unlimited online gym pass.

Learn more about the new service, including eligibility and referral routes, plus discover how practices can work with the new provider to ensure gloji | Smokefree City & Hackney makes a significant, positive impact on the health and wellbeing of residents.

Referral methods: EMIS managed referral

To refer patients, please use the updated EMIS form RP Smoking Cessation Service Referral Form CEG v8. Gloji | Smokefree City & Hackney will pick up these referrals and contact patients to start them on their smoking cessation journey. Please use the updated document which is on EMIS.
