The Hear to Help service offers:

  • Cleaning advice
  • Provision of cleaning aids and cleaning for service users with limited dexterity
  • Replacement of batteries, tips, domes, wax filters and tubing
  • Repair of faulty hearing aids where possible
  • Provision of information (in a suitable language and format) about wider support services for hearing loss
  • Signposting education on how to use a hearing aid properly
  • Hearing screenings which take place at the clinics and at visits of care homes, sheltered accommodation, health and wellbeing events
  • Clinical aftercare including reassessments and ear mould impressions completed by AQP Audiology Providers.

Eligibility criteria

Inclusions

All hearing aid users and patients with suspected hearing loss.


How to refer

Self-referral

This is a walk-in clinic so no referral is required. The clinic locations and opening times are listed in the Patient Leaflet (available in Downloads).
