Adult Gender Identity Clinic

MDT, including counselling psychologists, psychiatrists, endocrinologist and SLT, for those with issues related to gender – most commonly gender variance associated with gender dysphoria. Can be referred, regardless of whether they have begun a process of transition.

Exclusions

  • People with psychosexual issues in the absence of gender identity concerns
  • People exclusively seeking breast augmentation, thyroid chondroplasty (tracheal shave) or cricothyroid approximation (vocal pitch) surgery as these interventions are no longer funded by NHS England Specialist Commissioning
