This service is designed to provide GPs with a one-off reading to enable the GP to decide how best to support/manage patients presenting with COVID-19 symptoms or who are COVID-19 positive. The monitoring service is designed to allow GPs to care for their COVID positive patients in the community for up to 14 days and escalate to secondary care if/when appropriate.
Results are provided normally within 2 hours of the patient’s initial appointment.
