Practical Parkinson's

Parkinson's is the second commonest neurodegenerative disorder and the prevalence is rising. In this session, the new(ish) integrated Movement Disorders team at Homerton Hospital will provide a practical overview of Parkinson's aimed at GPs and GP trainees. Through a series of case presentations and videos, they will cover initial diagnosis, identification and medical managment of common motor and non-motor symptoms, and the critical "dos and don'ts" of anti-parkinsonism medications.
