Preparations have been completed for reinstating all the Homerton routine cardiac tests services (Apart from BP monitors) from 1st of July.
We have implemented changes to service and patient workflow according to the Pan-London IPC Guidelines and this is also approved by our CRG panel, chaired by the Medical Director.
GP open access Echo, 12 Lead ECG, and Holter services are a priority and hence will be reinstated in phase one. Ambulatory BP Monitor service will NOT be reinstated during phase one.
There will be no walk in services. All the tests will be appointment based. This includes 12 Lead ECG and Holter monitor service.
All the test requests should be emailed to huh-tr.ecg-homerton@nhs.net. If a test is urgent please document Urgent as email subject.
ECG requests can also be emailed to us on the same email ID and we shall be sending appointment letters to the patient.
We will be starting the test appointments for patients in date order. We shall update you regarding the waiting times once we have finished the backlog of current pending tests. We are hoping to provide you more information during CVLIT meetings.
